Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Howago Nojoya ("we", "us", "our"), operating the website howago-nojoya.info, collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and the Polish Act on Personal Data Protection of 10 May 2018 (Dz.U. 2018 poz. 1000).

Who we are

The data controller is Howago Nojoya, with its registered address at Poznańska 62/38, Poznań, Poland. You can reach us at [email protected] or by phone at +48 616 601 517. We are the entity responsible for deciding how and why your personal data is processed.

What data we collect and why

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us — for example, when you fill in the contact form on this website. The categories of data we may collect include your name, email address, and the content of your message.

We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use it for automated decision-making, profiling, or marketing unless you separately and explicitly consent to such use.

We also collect certain technical data automatically when you visit the website. This includes your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This data is collected through server logs and, where applicable, cookies. It is used for the security and proper functioning of the website.

Legal basis for processing

We process your contact form data on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR — processing necessary for the performance of steps prior to entering a contract, or on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries received through our website.

Technical data collected through server logs is processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in maintaining the security and operation of our website.

Where we use non-essential cookies (such as analytics), we process data on the basis of Article 6(1)(a) GDPR — your explicit consent, which you provide through our cookie consent tool.

How long we keep your data

Contact form data is retained for a period of up to 24 months from the date of your enquiry, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. Technical log data is retained for a maximum of 12 months. If a contractual relationship is established, data relevant to that relationship is retained for the period required by applicable law, including the Polish Accounting Act (ustawa o rachunkowości) where relevant.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We may share data with service providers who assist us in operating our website and business — such as web hosting providers and email service providers. These providers act as data processors and are bound by data processing agreements requiring them to handle your data only on our instructions and in accordance with GDPR.

We may also disclose data where required to do so by law or in response to a valid request from a public authority.

International transfers

Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, or that the transfer is to a country recognised as providing an adequate level of protection.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data:

  • The right to access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • The right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • The right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your data, subject to certain conditions.
  • The right to restriction — you can ask us to restrict how we use your data.
  • The right to data portability — you can ask us to provide your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • The right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • The right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month of receiving your request. If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, www.uodo.gov.pl.

Cookies

We use cookies on this website. For full details of which cookies we use and why, please see our Cookie Policy. You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the consent tool on this website.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorised disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
